HP and LiteOn announce first Lightscribe DVD burner

[LCG Research Network www.thelcg.com :: Main Page] The new drive is the first result of cooperation announcement last month in which LiteOn was presented as exclusive manufacturer, distributor and marketer for HP-branded optical drives. The "dvd640i" comes with common performance features such as Dual-Layer capability for writing 8.5 GByte discs in 2.4x speed and single-layer DVD+R burning in 16x.
